The first half of the race saw a flurry of cautions as cars were getting beat up left and right. As chaos erupted, many teams went with different strategies. Joey Logano, who started on pole, was one of the first to pit during one of the cautions early in the race. The gamble ended up costing him as he got caught in one of the pile ups when running in the back of the field.

The second half of the race went green all the way through, Larson and the Number 5 team showed they had the best strategy as Larson was able to pit late and get a fresh set of tires that helped him navigate through the field and get his 3rd win of the season.

Martin Truex Jr. was looking to have a strong day until he ran out of fuel with just a few hundred yards to go, falling all the way to 27th. This was very similar to what we saw with Blaney last week.
