Keselowski Gets Back in Victory Lane after 110 Races

Good Morning Race Fans. Just a heads up, I will not be sending out a recap of the All-Star Race next weekend. Stay tuned for the Coke 600 recap the following week.

Brad Keselowski claims his 36th cup series win at Darlington and snaps a 110 race winless streak. The win also gives Ford its overdue first win of the season across all 3 NASCAR series.

Tyler Reddick used his pole position and number one pit stall to control the majority of the race. Keselowski was lurking behind Reddick the entire race and nearly took the lead after most pit stop cycles, but Reddick was able to use the benefit of the first pit stall to narrowly win the race off pit road almost every time.

Tyler Reddick and Chris Buescher had an intense battle for the win late in the race until Reddick got into Buescher causing both to wreck and fall to the rear. This left the door open for Keselowski to take the lead with just a handful of laps remaining. Keselowski was able to keep the lead and win the race despite Ty Gibbs closing the gap in the final laps. Gibbs finished with a new career-best second-place finish.

Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney and Martin Truex Jr had tough days. Blaney and Larson both wrecked out and finishing at the back of the pack, while Truex faced alternator issues and other damage finishing 25th.

Chris Buescher showed his frustration with Reddick him by confronting him after the race ⬇️
