Good Morning Race Fans. Another wild finish in the Cup Series brought a big shakeup to the playoff picture, lets dive into it below.

Cindric Takes the Win in Shocking Fashion

Austin Cindric stole the win at Gateway from his teammate, Ryan Blaney, after Blaney shockingly ran out of fuel with one lap remaining. Christopher Bell looked to have the dominant car for the second straight week, as he led 80 laps and won both of the opening stages.

Midway through the final stage it looked like the race would be between Bell and Blaney, who also had a strong car. Bell and Blaney had an intense battle for several laps before Bell slowed dramatically after engine issues. From there, it appeared Blaney was going to cruise to his first win of his championship defense season. Blaney then ran out of fuel with just one lap left as Cindric surged past him for his second career win. Blaney fell back all the way to 24th.

Bell was able to get help from Martin Truex Jr., who had a tough day after blowing a tire early. Truex pushed Bell along the straights for several laps to help Bell salvage a 7th place finish.
